Take it as an opportunity to buy a new one

2. Hair dos : yes, idi konchem alochinchalsina vishayam....mana new haircut ni office lo evaru theda ga choodakoodau, but friends anta notice cheyyali ante kastam kada. So, My sincere advise is ...know ur hair...don't try drastic things....go step by step...like...if u have a step cut, try layers...or try a fringe ( make sure the fringe goes back your ears when u don't like it). basically parlour vaadi chetilo hair pettodduuu. meere decide cheseyyali...."They know Techniques, but they don't know U"

3. youtube videos choose vallu ...u already know how to do lot of stuff..so, theory tho aapaka, practicals try cheyyandi...best time to try all that is "Girls Night Out"..okavela videos choodani vallaite...start watching...very informative :)

4. Once a month, sit and inspect your handbag....u never realize what those excavations would result to...you might find ur old lip balm or some credit note or someone's cream( needless to say, don't bother to return ;) )

5. when u plan to buy something seriously, plan 2 rounds of shopping. one, to survey which one is good or which one is cheaper, and the second one, to actually buy it.

6. Buy accessories more than clothes...so, mix and match cheste..u will not get bored of your clothes for a long time ( yes...practially proven theory! )

7. Buy things that suit your personality, that reflects u...Don't buy stuff just because they are trendy or good...

8. Always keep the bills...you never know when you stop liking it (ur friend/colleague might buy the same outfit after u have bought and might wear it before u and get the compliments)

Ippudu in detail ga...first ilanti projects start ayyinappudu, UI team comes up with designs...site ela undali....look & feel etc., decide chestaru...then, they bring it to us. appudu nenu aa site lo kanipinche content ela vastundi, ekkada nundi vastundi, ela manage chestam..indulo edi Editorially driven, edi kaadu...ivanni decide chesta...basically, Editors ee site ni ela use chesi ekkada nundi content populate chestaru ani decide chestam...then business vallatho, inka boldanta mandi pani leni vallatho meetings meeda meetngs jarigi, we come to a decission and then I design those stuff in a Content Management System and then do some coding occassionally to show it on the site ( ante motham nene cheseste, migata team anta emi chestaru cheppandi)

hmm...precisely adi. but this project has been very special to me because idi starting nundi live vellevaraku motham chala close ga involve ayya...and when I was populating the minimum content on the Live Site before handing over to the Editors, I felt this is my Baby :)...yep, very exciting...I can probably tell my grand children(vallaina vinte :( ),that I am the one who got this to live with content.

As this is the next generation online TV, ppl r very excited abt it as it is going to be along similar lines to Hulu, you tube etc.,

Today...while coming to office...was thinking how Life would be if there are no computers n no Internet....hmm....It is jus beyond my imagination.

Life back home was quite different. nenu Degree vache daaka Colour Monitor unna Computer ye choodaledu ( no exaggeration, maa college lo anni black & white monitors..Cobol ( not sure of the spelling, but who cares ;) and C programming chesevallam).

Now, Past tense nundi present tense ki vaste....jus a quick glance at our schedule ...

poddunna levagane Iphone lo nundi you tube ki connect ayyi Bhakti songs vini...next, office ki vellataniki ready avutu Genre marchi new songs vintam...then while going to office, Ipod on and edo kompalu munigipotunnattu IPhone lo mails check chesesukuntam underground(tube) lo signal poye lopu.

ika office ki ragane very deligently Google Chrome open chesi oka tab lo gmail, oka tab lo orkut, inko tab lo facebook open chesi...anni updates ayyaka...then live radio vintu pani cheyyataniki try cheyyatam..

ika work vishayaniki vaste.....anything confusing, worrying, irritating...open Google Search and check forums (yes, very informative and pretty useful!)..so, akkada code vethiki copy&paste cheseyyatam ( yeah...I truly believe that a smart developer is not the one who writes good programmes but the one who knows what to search and how to re-use!)

Oxford...city of dreaming spires

As promised, here is my experience about Oxford City

ok...finally we arrived at Oxford. chaaaaaaala chali ga undi..first, Mc Donalds ki velli Breakfast thini then intelligent decission theesukuni we bought the Oxford Sightseeing Ticket ( I strongly recommend this http://www.citysightseeingoxford.com/ ) . This is an Audio guided tour (konni buses lo Guides kooda untaru..but aa busses frequency thakkuva). we got into the bus. ivi "Open Top Double Decker" buses. my recommedation is "chali ekkuva feel ayyevallu winter lo DAYA CHESI aa upper level lo koorchoddu...book ayipotaru ( personal experience)".

now..more serious things..being an ardent fan of HarryPotter, I was quite thrilled to find out that much of the filming of HarryPotter was done in Oxford.and also "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" was inspired from here. Its the very famous "Christ Church College, University of Oxford". Political Gaints like Bill Clinton, Tony Bliar are Oxford Students and it has the wonderful history of producing many more Governors and highly influential ppl. There r lot of colleges affiliated to Oxford that r spread across the city. and many of these colleges has magnificent Cathedrals...One has to see to appreciate it.

Then comes the fascinating Museums,

• Ashmolean Museum, this is the oldest Museums and it has extensive collections of art and antiquities(veera boring...)
• Museum of the History of Science,contains the world’s finest collection of historic scientific instruments(its interesting yaa...u will spend more time than u plan..so, plan well and go)
• Oxford University Museum of Natural History,houses the University's collections of zoological, entomological, palaeontological and mineral specimens (My Pick of the Day...this is jus amazing. Dinosours and Dodos, (Jurassic Park, The Lost World movies lo pettina Dinosour skeletons ikkada unnay) and many more.

I was quite surprised n thrilled to find out the significant contributions done in this city. The Famous Antibiotic, Penicillin was developed here. Famous Galileo( manamPhysics lo chaduvukunnam kada..Velocity blah blah) is from Oxford. Charles Darwin ( Evolution Theory) is from here and the list is endless.

It is a Day out of Education and Enlightenment.

Honestly speaking, one day is not sufficient to cover the whole place...2 days unte, I think it would be good ( bore kooda kottechemo ...)

New Year Resolutions

A Very Happy New Year to everyone! ....andariki Nutana Samvatsara Subhakankshalu :)

wat better to start the Blog than New Year Resolutions in this New Year..so, here u go..

New Year eppudu vastunda ani wait chestunna from December ...then last week lo ika resolutions prepare cheyyali ani decide ayyi alochinchi chinchi..list prepare chesa..here it is

1. Watch pettukovali ( ee computers, Mobiles vachaka Watch pettukotam manesa...have to start this again..n Guess wat..first step is already done..Bought a nice Watch(hehehe...shopping cheyyataniki oka reason)..just the last step to go..which is to actually wear it.

2. Never forget Debit/Credit Cards and Oyster before going out.( idi Number 1 avvali...yesss..HAVE TO DO)

3. pani sradhaga chesi Office ni paiki theesukellali( oh..wait! maa office already Top Floor lo undi, inka paiki ela theesukeltam...so, idi light le ...)

4. Start Blogging!(yaahooo...idi already chesesa)

5. No More Depression Shopping. (ok..can go to shops but restrict to buying useful things!)

well...5 points chalu...maree ekkuva unte marchipotam kada...so, lets see whats in store :D

coming to NewYear celebrations...New Year Eve ki LondonEye vellam to see the so called, much hyped Spectacular Fireworks....well..appude inko resolution kooda theesukunna..."Never go to London Eye on 31st to see the Fireworks" ani..its not worth at all :(...

and then, weekend Oxford vellam ...such a Magnificent and Historic City....very Impressive..Oxford gurinchi detailed ga next post lo raastaa...anni ippude rasesta ela...
